Recently I reviewed the original seven points of mind training and which slogans appear in each one. After reflecting on the placement of slogans within this revised version, I have decided to make some changes that I think better reflect the essence of the original structure of the slogans.
Here is what has changed:
- The following slogans have moved from the third point of mind training to the fourth:
- Train without bias in all areas… (old Slogan 43, now combined with old Slogan 44 as Slogan 40)
- All dharma agrees at one point. (old Slogan 33, now Slogan 41)
- Always maintain only a joyful mind. (old Slogan 34a, now Slogan 42)
- If you can practice even while distracted… (old Slogan 34b, now Slogan 43)
- Practice the five strengths… (old Slogan 32, now Slogan 46)
- The numbering of Slogans 32 – 47 has also been updated to reflect these changes.
- New or edited written and audio commentary is provided for the new slogans 40, 42, 43, 46 and 47.
- The Slogan Page and Commentary Page are revised to reflect these changes.
- The Slogan Cross-Reference and Principles and Lists documents (linked on the Resources Page) are updated to reflect these changes.
In addition, I have added links for each slogan listed on the Slogan Page, so that one can navigate directly to the corresponding commentary.
Enjoy!
